How cool is this?!?!? I just stumbled onto this adorable site, Liana's Paper Doll Blog. Each day she features at least one FREE, DOWNLOADABLE paper doll dress of her own design! What a great project for a designer to keep sharp and increase your portfolio.
She appears to have covered a lot of ground, including a mermaid costume EVERY MONDAY!, numerous period pieces, and a TON of pop-culture inspired outfits like Bella Swan's wedding dress, Echo's yoga outfit, and something from Battlestar Galactica.
She's also got interesting stories on her inspiration - here she live blogs her reaction to the Oscars and you get a running commentary on the fashions through her eyes. She's clearly a sci-fi fan, as I've seen her gather inspiration from Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse, and Firefly, among others.
Sadly, it appears she's bailed on this blog, the last post being in April - but there's quite a history there to wade through, and maybe she'll pick it up again.
