Hi again folks, guess I'm back on track with the multi-posting days :) WHEW! I'm still not venturing far from my Dayquil & Puffs Plus, but I'm slowly re-joining humanity.
Remember a few weeks ago when I did the round of up flower costumes and mentioned the epic one my mother made? When I was at her house last week I covertly extracted a photo of it, and then completely forgot when sickness knocked me silly. Now that I'm back at work I've finally scanned it in - not the best photo, remember this was the film era when you didn't know if you "got the shot" till you developed the film weeks later, but you get the general idea:
Aww, how cute am I in my Velcro shoes? That's a watering can I used to collect candy, and I'm pretty sure I'm just wearing jeans and a green coat - remember in Minnesota we often have snow on Halloween, so my mom always tried to work them in to the costume rather than resorting to throwing one on over (what are you? A princess in a snowsuit, sure I can see it...) The whole thing is sort of built on a hood that tied under the neck, and that big green leaf is actually quilted. Supposedly the petals are just cut from pizza boxes then covered in batting and yellow fabric.
It was a little hard to get through doors, but definitely fun to wear :)

I remember that costume as if it were yesterday!!
I know, right? I bet it's still around somewhere in "the basement." I think you should post pics of your amazing Ewok costumes!
