Tree #3 was the one I admired since I came into the family 10 years ago (yup, 10 years ago next month - more than 1/3 of my LIFE, can you believe it?).

She had the most unique take on ornaments - silver frames with photos of her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids hung by red ribbons:

These are so precious to me. Though Gloria did the tree up slightly differently, I knew I just wanted to showcase the frames, so I stuck with simple white lights, a little silver snowflake garland, and her retro lighted topper. I think it came out really simple and elegant.

I can't wait to carry this tradition on, and add photos of my family to the mix. I think it's a really beautiful reminder of what I find important during the holidays - family, memories, and history.
