Clean Cup, Move Down...

It occurs to me I never showed y'all how my giant tea cup turned out. I blogged the photos of the work in progress here, and it's finally been glazed & fired, so it turned out like this:



I'm mostly happy with it, I'm a little too much of a perfectionist to handle the few smushes and errant brush strokes that aren't quite perfect, but I'm working on it.

I was sad to see that it doesn't glow under black light - for some reason I had it in my head that anything painted white would glow, and that's so far resulted in a few disappointments, but it's still cool. I plan to use it as a punch bowl :)

What kind of punch? Well, tea of course...Long Island Iced :)
